Licorice Bandit or Kippy as his more commonly known is the best most beautiful
natured horse I have ever known. He is so friendly, when I whistle at the top of
his 2 acre paddock he comes galloping and whinnying at me until he is by my
side. He gives me kisses and cuddles every morning when I go and feed him.
He can do everything; he has jumped over 1 metre twenty with his previous
owner Olympian Barry Roycroft who also broke Kippy in. He has been
extremely successful at many things such as eventing; show jumping, mounted
games, trail riding, beach riding, herding cattle. He can do just about anything
imaginable. He thinks he is the king of everywhere he always wants attention
and has to have a friend. He is amazing going from a little shaggy pony to a
proud and glamorous 14.3 & ¾ hh dark bay beauty.
Although he is very skilled at all above, his most successful area is dressage,
he is never unplaced all around Victoria and right now I am training him in
classical dressage. He already does shoulder in, counter shoulder in, and
counter canter, half pass, and many other fancy things. He is my pride and joy
and I couldn't bear to live in a world with out him. He starts, finishes, and
completes my day.
He will not leave my paddock until he is accepted into heaven and he won't ever
leave my heart.
