I would like to combine my entry for Steed of the Week with both our mare
Halo and her new foal (born 02/02/06) Aurenda. Halo is a 7 years old
Thoroughbred mare and this wonderful colt you see pictured is her first foal
and she has been absolutely amazing for a maiden mare. Aurenda or Hamish
as he is affectionately now known as is a warmblood cross by Aramis and a
cheeky little fellow already. We had a long wait while trying to get Halo in foal
and were finally grateful when we got the good news. This is our first foal as
well and the whole experience has been awesome. We would like to also
thank Jean and Leslie at Struan Park for all of their support and help.
