I would like to nominate Leica Shimma Mizz-ella for Steed of The Week. I got
her for my 9th birthday, she was 18 months old. My sisters helped me break
her but she doesn't like them so I had to train her and learn at the same time
together.
My name is Danielle and we call her Elle for short. So she is really like my
other half. This was her second horse show. She jumped everything ( except
the water). We shocked my mum and sisters who thought if she stayed tied
up to the float we were on a good wicket with her. We even placed in every
round.
She lives up to her breeding. Arab riding pony. I am really grateful we got her
so young because we didn't have to pay so much for her. But I have eaten
plenty of dirt because of our learning curbs. I love her to pieces. I hope I can
ride her for another few years yet. She is 4 now and I am 12. She loves
swimming in the river and being hosed. She doesn't like my big sisters
(they're bossy). She doesn't like people that are taller than her but that's
because I have done nearly everything with her myself.
Thank you for sharing my pony with others. I love this idea and enjoy seeing
other kids with their loved horses also.
