Cosi used to be agisted on a station near Kalgoorlie, and was shot through the
neck by vandals on motorbikes and left to die almost 3 years ago. The woman
who owned the station contacted a friend of mine with the instructions of
bringing her in (several others had already tried but could not get near her)
because if he could not, she would be shot "properly" as she was in a very bad
way. Well, we brought her in, I found her owners, and because of an impending
move to Perth they gave her to me, and my life changed from that moment!
She is a palomino quarter horse mare, 12 years old roughly, not quite 15hh, and
we are studying Natural Horsemanship. She is a very resilient girl, a tough bush
horse with a softer side, and I simply adore her. Most of the time she feels the
same way about me!!! Of course, carrots always help! LOL
