Cloud is my gorgeous 13.3 and 1/4 hh 5 yr old pinto gelding I have on lease.
He is half quarter horse and part arab/welsh. I've had him for just over a year.
When I got him he was mainly used as pleasure. We've come really far together
and he's progressed so well. I took him to his first show a couple of months
after I got him, he didn't bat an eyelid and was so perfectly behaved. No one
could believe it was his first show or that he was only 4 yrs old then. Since then
we've been to lots of shows and he always comes home with ribbons and
catches some admirers along the way- and comments on how fat he is (or
when's she due to foal?). We worked through a lot of things from scratch - he
had no idea what to do in an arena but now we're working on lateral work and
rounding up - he's doing very well. He likes to show off in hacking, loves to
jump (especially x-country ), likes novelties, doesn't like dressage! Sadly, I've
outgrown him and it will break my heart to give him back but I'm really to big for
him. I'd also like to thank his owner for leasing him to me - he is the best thing
that has ever happened to me!
