I would like to nominate my 16 year old purebred arab stallion Ashbrook
Impression for horse of the week. I love this boy and he is an absolute
dream to own. I rescued him as skin and bones about 5 years ago with a
warning from the vet that he had a 50% chance of surviving and probably
less than 5% chance of him still being fertile. I didn't care as i had already
fallen hook line and sinker for this boy. 5 years later he is still my favourite
boy and he is King at the stud. Bud has also given us 4 beautiful babies - 2
anglos and 2 partbred palominos. I think Bud deserves horse of the week
for being a true gentlemen and for having been such a tough old bugger to
survive what he has gone through in the past. I could never part with my
boy and he will happily, fat as a fool, live out his days keeping the mares
and young ones in line.
